TSD is short form of Time, Speed, Distance. This is a rally not a race. In this rally it is precision what is required and not speed. It is called a TSD rally because you are supposed to be at the right place at the right time by traveling the right distance. You will get penalty points for either being early or being late to a particular point and the penalties are higher for being early than for being late. There will be two members to a team: Driver and Navigator. The Driver should have a valid licence and necessary driving skills and the Navigator should be able to calculate the 3 factors (time, speed, distance) and guide the driver with the help of a route chart or tulip to stay on route. The Dare 2 Drive Edition is for corporates, so atleast one team member has to be from a corporate or a company. The other team member can be from the same company or from any background.

Stage Rally is about speed and how fast can you drive. Some examples are World Rally Championship (WRC) and Indian National Rally Championship (INRC). You need rally experience and special cars designed for Rallying to participate. TSD Rally is about Time, Speed & Distance. You don't need any rally experience or rally car to participate in this rally, hence anyone can participate in TSD Rally.

Yes, the team members can be from different organisations. However, one team member has to be from a corporate or a company, and the other team member can be from any background.

Yes, you can. If you look at our model, we are trying to promote rallying in India for common people. Infact, there is no rallying experience required for driver or navigator at all to participate in a TSD Rally.

No, you have to bring your own car and bear the fuel expenses for approximate distance of 100-150 Kms.

Since this is a TSD format rally, you will not have to make any additions or embellishments to your car. It could be a small car, Sedan, Jeep or SUV – every car is at par in TSD format and you don't need a rally prepared car. You will be tested on precision rather than speed.

This is a One Day format, the route is not disclosed, but will be in and outskirts of Bangalore and will cover aprroximately 100-120kms, starting at 09.00 a.m and will finish between about 02.00-04.00 p.m. followed with awards function and dinner party. A notepad, calculator, pen and the odometer of the car are sufficient for all your Time, Speed and Distance calculations. Infact, navigational aids like trip meters, Terratrip, Halda etc. is not permitted. Likewise, use of Cellular phones, Wireless Communication Sets, Pagers, GPS etc. shall be strictly prohibited under pain of exclusion to be pronounced by Steward of the Meet. |
The Entry fees for Dare 2 Drive - Corporate Edition is Rs. 10,000/- per team and is inclusive of 12.36% service tax & FMSCI License. However, you can call us for special discount on multiple teams from the same Company. |

Yes, all rallies need FMSCI license but, do not worry! Thriller Life will arrange this license for you. Our aim is to keep it extremely simple for you, so you can leave the hassle of getting this to you. The rally license fee for the driver is covered in the Entry Fees.

No, you don't need to wear any special clothing or helmets for TSD rally. Wear anything comfortable.

Ofcourse, women can take the role of any team member, its' the driver or the navigator. Infact, we have special prizes for "all women team" - where both driver & navigator are women.

The team will consist of only the Driver and the Navigator and no other additional member is allowed in the car for Dare 2 Drive – Corporate Edition.

Yes, we will encourage you to bring friends / family to the event and awards / dinner function, however there will be basic cover charge of Rs.600/- (inclusive of taxes) per head for the awards and dinner function.
